How to report for the Loss of HDFC Freedom Credit Card

If you lost your Credit card, Please take it easy and dont be tensed. Take a deep breath and apply for a new credit card.

Here is the easy way to do.

Step 1 Log in to Credit card net banking

Step 2 Select Credit card Hotlisting as shown in the above image

Step 3 Select your card and give reason as lost and apply

Step 4 After finishing the setup, at the same time you can apply for duplicate card as well

OR

If you want to speak directly, Make a call to the given number and speak to the customer care and do blocking and apply for new credit card.

How to activate HDFC CREDIT CARD netbanking

Step 1. Login to the credit card login page of HDFC BANK
Link: https://netbanking.hdfcbank.com/netbanking/CCLogin.html

Step 2. Select  Register here option
Step 3. Give a Unique Login ID and
Step 4. Give a Unique Name on the Card (Card Holder Name), Credit card 16 Digit Number, Credit Card Expiry, Credit card PIN (Generated PIN)
Step 5. Then Choose Password and conform the same password

How to actviate Freedom Credit card using ATM PIN

Here is the simple step to activate your Freedom credit card.

Step 1. You should get the 6 digit ATM PIN from HDFC BANK.Please dont generate any other PIN via Calling HDFC BANK.Use only the given SMS PIN like mentioned below

Step 2. Go to the nearest HDFC ATM counter and Swipe your Credit card and select INPUT YOUR ONE TIME PASSWORD TO CREATE THE NEW ATM PIN

Step 3. Enter your 6 digit PIN received on your mobile

Step 4. Enter mobile number including 91

Eg: your Mobile number is 81223325547.

you should enter 9181223325547 like this.

Step 5. Enter New 4 digit PIN as your wish

Step 6. Enter again to conform the pin

Step 7. You will get a Screen like the image given below

'Your PIN has been changed.

How to activate Auth ID Deactivated in HDFC Freedom Credit Card

While generating new 4 digit Pin, If error occurs, many times, the ID will get Deactivate.


Dont Worry !

Here is the right way to activate your Card.
Step 1. Call Customer Care in the Given Phone Banking Numbers
Use the Link https://www.hdfcbank.com/personal/find-your-nearest/find-phone-banking
and select the Number

OR

2. Select Language English, HIndi  or your preferred Language available
3. Select Option 2 for Credit Card
4. Select Option 3 Other information and services or reporting credit card loss
5. Select Option 2 Credit Card complaint and enter credit card 16 digit number followed by their automatic request
6.Select Mobile OTP Verification option and type the OTP Received number.
7. Then your call will connect to customer care for final verification.
8. They will ask credit card number and after they will sent a 6 digit PIN in mobile phone.
9.Now you can activate your HDFC Freedom CREDIT CARD by going to ATM.
10. This is final Step - insert your Credit card in HDFC ATM and select TO CREATE NEW PIN for the first Screen (Dont select any other option !)
11. Now you enter the 6 digit pin and then registered Mobile Number in the format 91xxxxxxxxxx (Dont forget to enter 91 before your number) and verify. Finished ! your card get activated.
